Bromelain
Description
Bromelain is an enzyme extracted from pineapple. By intervening in the process of breaking down food proteins into amino acids, it helps to improve digestive comfort and reduce certain symptoms such as bloating, intestinal gas and heartburn.
In addition to its ability to digest protein, bromelain has anti-infectious and anti-inflammatory properties. It thus helps to relieve joint stiffness and pain, promotes the resorption of oedemas and helps to reduce congestion in the respiratory tract. Moreover, bromelain acts on the healing of wounds.
