Description

The active part of the red vine, or "dye vine", is its leaf. It is rich in polyphenols (resveratrol in particular, but also flavanols and chlorogenic acid) with antioxidant and protective properties for many organs, and in anthocyanins, pigments that also have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The latter play a role in strengthening the resistance of blood vessel walls, thus exerting a protective effect on circulation.
