Description

Naturally present in the skin, ceramides are lipids that act as a protective barrier against external aggressions. Age and winter conditions (cold, humidity) are responsible for the decrease in the concentration of ceramides in the skin.

Extracted from mature wheat, the lipid profile of wheat ceramides is close to that of our skin. Wheat ceramides are rich in vitamin E with its antioxidant action, fatty acids and sterols.

Many benefits are attributed to them, both for the skin and for the hair. Indeed, wheat ceramides allow restructuring and moisturizing the skin in depth to make it more supple and elastic.

By ensuring a better cohesion between the cells of the hair fiber, they contribute to its protection against external aggressions responsible for the drying of the hair.

The benefits

Wheat ceramides stimulate the production of collagen by the cells and thus improve the hydration and elasticity of the skin.
