Forms of magnesium with optimal bioavailability
The magnesium forms included in PHYSIOMANCE® MagTrio have been selected according to their physicochemical properties, in an approach aimed at ensuring optimal bioavailability and digestive tolerance as part of daily supplementation.
Unlike certain formulations containing so-called “buffered” forms, PHYSIOMANCE® MagTrio is formulated without the addition of magnesium oxide. Magnesium oxide, also called marine magnesium, belongs to inorganic salts, characterized by limited solubility in the intestinal environment. This low solubility may restrict the release of magnesium ions, leading to incomplete absorption.
The fraction of magnesium not absorbed may then exert an osmotic effect at the intestinal level, likely to cause certain digestive discomforts, such as bloating or changes in transit in sensitive individuals. These characteristics explain the variability of digestive tolerance observed with certain inorganic forms.
Conversely, PHYSIOMANCE® MagTrio is based exclusively on magnesium forms derived from organic and chelated structures, namely L-threonate (Magtein®), bisglycinate and magnesium malate. These forms have favorable properties in terms of solubility, facilitating their availability for physiological processes.
The choice to combine these three forms is part of an approach aimed at optimizing magnesium intake conditions, contributing to reducing fatigue, to the normal functioning of the nervous system and to a normal energy metabolism.
