During physical activity, and particularly during intense or repeated training, the body is subjected to numerous mechanical and metabolic stresses. These efforts regularly result in muscle micro-injuries, inflammatory pain, localized edema, and even protein degradation that can hinder progress or lead to injuries. Among them, heat shock proteins, or Heat Shock Proteins (HSP), play a key role. True "chaperone proteins", they intervene to ensure the correct folding of cellular proteins, prevent their aggregation under cellular stress, and promote the elimination of damaged proteins via the proteasome. This repair mechanism is essential for athletes, whose body’s production of HSPs can be disrupted by chronic overstimulation, and whose natural synthesis also decreases with age, thus reducing overall cellular resilience.

The enzymatic extract of asparagus stem ETAS®, standardized in Asfural and Asparaprolines, has been the subject of studies demonstrating its ability to stimulate the expression of HSP70, one of the chaperone protein families most involved in cellular protection. This stimulation not only allows the repair of damaged proteins but also promotes the elimination of irreversibly degraded proteins, contributing to better post-effort cellular balance and a notable improvement in recovery.

The formulation of PHYSIOMANCE® HSP Recup is based on a unique synergistic action between bromelain, ETAS® asparagus extract, HMB, and zinc. For the athlete, recovery is just as crucial as the rigor of training. To support this essential phase, numerous active ingredients are used in the sports field to optimize each period of rest and regeneration.

HMB is particularly beneficial for athletes in intensive training or recovery phases. It seems to play a key role in restarting the synthesis of HSPs (heat shock proteins) as well as activating protein synthesis — two fundamental processes for supporting muscle and cellular function after significant physical stress.

The athlete's goal is to reduce muscle damage caused by physical exertion while promoting muscle fiber regeneration, thus optimizing cellular recovery and enhancing stress resistance. Bromelain has long been valued by athletes.

ETAS®, an enzymatic extract of asparagus stem, is supported by numerous scientific studies. It appears to directly influence the activation of repair proteins HSP70, thus promoting the recycling and repair of denatured proteins while limiting their intracellular accumulation.
