    The intestinal microbiota refers to all living micro-organisms present in the digestive tract, mainly in the intestine. It is made up of bacteria, also called lactic ferments, which constantly interact with the body. The composition of the microbiota is influenced by many factors, such as diet, lifestyle, the environment, or stress.

    Scientific research has highlighted the existence of a communication network between the intestine and the brain, known as the gut–brain axis.     The association of three microbiota strains within TEOLIANCE® Psychobiotic is based on a rigorous scientific selection, founded on the analysis of data from the literature and published clinical studies.

    The formula combines Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG and Lactobacillus plantarum P8, belonging to the Lactobacillus genus, as well as Bifidobacterium breve CCFM1025, representative of the Bifidobacterium genus. These two major bacterial families constitute a significant part of the human intestinal microbiota and are the subject of extensive research in microbiology and nutrition. Lactobacilli are lactic acid bacteria frequently found in different segments of the digestive tract. They are widely studied for their microbiological characteristics, their ability to adapt to the intestinal environment and their presence in numerous clinical studies focusing on the microbiota. Bifidobacteria, for their part, are mainly located in the colon and are recognized as major components of the intestinal microbiota, particularly in the early years of life.
