    Spermidine is an endogenous polyamine naturally present in all our cells, produced from putrescine and dependent, among other factors, on the activity of the gut microbiota. Its curious name comes from its first identification in semen, but its involvement in numerous cellular mechanisms places it in a much broader context. About one-third of spermidine comes from endogenous production, while the remaining two-thirds come from the diet. It is mainly found in plant-based foods such as: wheat, cabbage, mushrooms, whole grains, natto.

    The cellular concentration of spermidine gradually decreases with age.     HPMC (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose or hypromellose) is the main material used to form the shell of plant-based capsules. HPMC is a cellulose derivative, a natural substance found in the cell walls of plants. This cellulose derivative offers excellent capsule or tablet forming ability, providing an effective alternative to traditional animal-based or synthetic gelling agents.     Using advice

    1 to 4 capsules per day away from meals,  for at least 1 month. Repeat if necessary.
