Omega 7
Description
Omega-7s are monounsaturated fatty acids. Vaccinic acid, palmitoleic acid and rumenic acid are among the omega-7s.
Omega-7s are found in certain oils such as sea buckthorn and macadamia nut oil, but also in dairy products.
Omega-7s contribute to the proper functioning of the body, especially the heart and brain. Studies show that a diet rich in omega-7 helps to reduce bad cholesterol (LDL) levels and promotes an increase in good cholesterol (HDL).
Omega-7 contributes to good hydration of dry skin and mucous membranes (nasal, vaginal, ocular, oral and digestive).
