    Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum), also known as the Mushroom of Immortality or Lingzhi (sacred mushroom), is a majestic-looking mushroom with a characteristically shiny reddish-brown surface.

    Standardized Reishi extract highly concentrated in polysaccharides

    The THERASCIENCE Laboratory has selected a standardized extract of Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) highly concentrated, with an extraction ratio of 8 to 1 (8:1).

    Thus, 2 capsules of MUSHROOMSSENTIEL® Reishi provide 1 g of pure Reishi extract, equivalent to 8 g of mushroom powder, making our formula highly concentrated.

    To ensure the optimal quality of our formulas, certain aspects of mushroom cultivation are essential.

    First, our mushrooms are from organic farming and grown without pesticides, ensuring their purity.

    Additionally, each mushroom species follows its own development cycle, allowing it to produce all of its compounds, found in the sporophore (fruiting body).

    This is why our mushrooms are harvested at maturity and our formulas provide only the active part of the mushrooms, without any growing substrate.

    Expertise from harvest to extract

    After harvesting, the mushrooms are immediately dried under optimal conditions to preserve their quality. Once manually inspected, only those with flawless quality are selected and allowed to be processed into powder, then into standardized extract with titrated active molecules.

    After drying, the fruiting bodies of the mushrooms are ground into a very fine powder using the so-called “shellbroken” method, which mechanically breaks the wall of each mushroom cell to release all its active compounds and optimize their bioavailability.

    The extraction of Reishi's active molecules is then carried out without organic solvents. Our extracts are obtained through aqueous extraction, during which the ground mushrooms are decocted for several hours at a controlled temperature, without boiling. This gentle method helps preserve the structure of the mushrooms’ active molecules.

    This step requires real technical expertise. Indeed, each fungal species requires specific parameters for time and temperature to optimally release its beneficial compounds, especially polysaccharides.

    Analysis and traceability: controlled mushrooms
