Each daily dose of 3 capsules provides 300 mg of KerPep^®, combined with 500 mg of L-cystine and 150 mg of L-methionine, two sulfur-containing amino acids that make up keratin. Synergistic combination for hair growth and density in men

DERMASSENTIEL^® Hair Men was formulated with rigorously selected bio-active ingredients. Saw Palmetto promotes natural hair growth, therefore hair regrowth, and helps maintain hair, thus fighting hair loss in men. It is accompanied by specific micronutrients that support hair balance: biotin, zinc and selenium contribute to maintaining normal hair. Also, since men's hair is sensitive to hormonal variations, vitamin B6 completes the formula as it helps regulate hormonal activity.

The specific combination, in DERMASSENTIEL^® Hair Men, of KerPep^® Keratin, a hydrolyzed protein, and micronutrients such as vitamin B6 which contributes to the normal synthesis of L-cysteine, a sulfur-containing amino acid that is a constituent of keratin, zinc which also contributes to normal protein synthesis, and vitamin B9 which contributes to normal amino acid synthesis. The addition of L-cysteine and L-methionine further reinforces this formula consistency.

Finally, the Suvimine 13^® micronutritional complex was developed to meet complementary needs. Vitamins B1, B2, B3 contribute to the normal functioning of the nervous system, a system particularly stressed in cases of stress and fatigue. Vitamins C and E, zinc and selenium help protect cells against oxidative stress, a mechanism involved in cases of imbalances related to increased oxidative stress. KerPep^®: a new generation of keratin peptides

At the heart of DERMASSENTIEL^® Hair Men, KerPep^® is based on a keratin transformation technology that makes it possible to obtain an ingredient composed of more than 90% bio-active keratin peptides. This form is distinguished from conventional keratins, which are generally composed of longer proteins, with high molecular weight and low solubility. Thanks to controlled fractionation, the keratin is converted into shorter peptide chains while maintaining a characteristic amino acid profile.

KerPep^® notably contains glycine, L-proline, L-arginine, L-serine and glutamic acid. The closeness of this profile to that of native keratin in hair reflects the biomimetic nature of the ingredient. KerPep^® thus combines high peptide concentration, low free amino acid content and precisely characterized compositional signature. These elements make it an innovative and promising raw material.

L-cystine and L-methionine: two sulfur-containing amino acids, key constituents of keratin

DERMASSENTIEL^® Hair Men combines the KerPep^® peptides with L-cystine and L-methionine, two amino acids belonging to the family of sulfur-containing amino acids.

These compounds occupy a special place in the biochemical profile of keratin. L-cystine notably participates in the organization of its structure through sulfur bonds that contribute to protein cohesion, while methionine is an essential sulfur-containing amino acid.

Their presence alongside hydrolyzed keratin peptides thus makes it possible to bring together, within the same formula, a characterized peptide source and amino acids specifically associated with keratin composition.
This complementarity reinforces the nutritional consistency of DERMASSENTIEL^® Hair Men.

Concentrated plant extracts rigorously selected

THERASCIENCE Laboratory selected for DERMASSENTIEL^® Hair Men three concentrated plant extracts, derived from pumpkin seeds, Saw Palmetto fruits and African prune bark.

Their concentration makes it possible to provide a defined amount of plant material in a precisely dosed formula. Pumpkin seed extract has an extraction ratio of 4 to 1 (4:1). Thus, the 400 mg of extract provided by three capsules of DERMASSENTIEL^® Hair Men corresponds to 1.6 g of dry plant. Saw Palmetto fruit extract is concentrated according to an extraction ratio of 10 to 1 (10:1). The 290 mg of extract present in the daily dose thus equivalent to 2.9 g of dry plant. Finally, African prune bark extract has an extraction ratio of 4 to 1 (4:1).

The 150 mg of extract provided by three capsules therefore represent 600 mg of dry plant. Thanks to this triple combination of concentrated plant extracts, DERMASSENTIEL^® Hair Men affirms a formulation based on precision, traceability and naturalness. Suvimine 13^® micronutritional complex

THERASCIENCE Laboratory developed the patented Suvimine 13^® complex. This complex combines 11 vitamins including B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B8, B9, B12), C, D and E as well as 2 trace elements (zinc and selenium) in their most bioavailable forms for optimal efficacy and absorption:

KerPep^® is a hydrolyzed form of keratin that makes it possible to obtain keratin peptides of very low molecular weight, between 300 and 800 Da. Their reduced size differentiates them from conventional keratin proteins, which are generally longer, heavier and less soluble. The fractionation of the protein into short peptide chains improves its dispersion and solubility characteristics, and makes it possible to offer keratin in a form specifically adapted for nutritional use.

Zinc is in bisglycinate form. A randomized study¹ was conducted on healthy volunteers to compare the oral bioavailability of zinc in gluconate and bisglycinate forms. At equal dose (15 mg), and after a 7-day wash-out period between intakes, the study concluded that bioavailability was significantly higher (+43.4%) for bisglycinate compared to gluconate. Furthermore, bisglycinate is very well tolerated by the body.

Selenium is in selenomethionine form. To obtain this selenium, the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae is cultivated in the presence of sodium selenite.

During fermentation, the latter metabolizes the selenite and transforms it into organic selenium.

This selenium is bound to a methionine molecule, an essential amino acid, and thus forms selenomethionine, the most bioavailable form in existence.

Vitamins B2, B6, B9, B12 are in coenzyme form.

B vitamins form a group of water-soluble vitamins that act in association and participate in many metabolic reactions. Water-soluble B vitamins do not accumulate in the body and escape storage and overdose risk.

They are supplied mainly in our products in a form identical to that used in metabolisms, therefore more metabolically active: vitamin B2 in the form of sodium riboflavine-5'-phosphate; vitamin B6 in the form of pyridoxal-5'-phosphate; vitamin B9 in the form of calcium L-methylfolate; vitamin B12 in the form of methylcobalamin.
