Expertise from Harvest to Extract
After harvesting, the mushrooms are immediately dried under optimal conditions to preserve their quality. Each mushroom is then hand-inspected, and only those meeting the highest standards are selected for transformation into powder, then into standardized extract with titrated active compounds.
Following drying, the fruiting bodies are ground into an ultra-fine powder using the "shellbroken" method.
This technique mechanically breaks the cell walls of the mushroom, releasing all active compounds and significantly improving their bioavailability.
The extraction of Chaga’s active compounds is performed without any organic solvents. Our extracts are obtained through a gentle water extraction process, during which the ground mushrooms are simmered for several hours at controlled temperatures, without boiling.
This careful method helps preserve the structure and integrity of the mushroom’s bioactive molecules.
This stage requires true technical expertise, as each fungal species demands specific parameters of time and temperature to optimally release its key compounds — particularly polysaccharides.
